The Role | Te mahi
We are seeking a talented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. We are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and who have experience in leading restaurants or customer facing roles. Full training will be provided. Whether you are a seasoned professional in the foody scene, or a newcomer to hospitality, we are keen to talk with you!
Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa
- Provide a warm engaging welcome to all guests
- Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
- Preparation of the restaurant for service
- Seating guests, taking orders and delivering exceptional service at all times
- Taking external and internal phone inquiries and delivery of room service
- Settling guest accounts
- Ensuring a positive resolution and follow up with any guest complaints
Requirements
About you | Ko koe tēnei
- Exceptional grooming and hygiene standards
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail
- Have a desire to learn and grow your hospitality career
- Experience in restaurant & bar service or customer facing role would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required (which may include early morning starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays)
- Valid Right to Work in NZ
