The Campus is looking for a part-time Front of House team member to join the team!
The Campus is Kāpura’s catering site, located in Trentham within the NZCIS facilities and is focused on feeding all clients on site, from sports teams to Government departments, all who use the accommodation and training facilities run by NZCIS. You’ll be working to help create a homely feel to the dining experience by working with clients to suit their catering needs – from cooked breakfasts and packed lunches to feeding 300 people in a dinner service.
Kāpura owns and operates The Campus as well as over 30 bars and restaurants around the Wellington CBD, surrounding suburbs and most recently has expanded into Hamilton and Tauranga.
We’re ideally seeking superstars who live and breathe amazing hospitality, people who have a passion for making someone’s day!
Due to the nature of hospitality, our FOH team members are the first faces that our loyal customers see, which in turn makes you the face of Kāpura. Naturally, you need more than just a smile…..
Key requirements for the role include:
- Ideally previous hospitality experience in a fast-paced venue, but we can provide training to the right applicant!
- Availability to work evenings & weekends
- A passion and desire to surprise and delight everyone that walks into the venue
- To look the part and help to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time
- To be great at building relationships with customers and team members
- To be comfortable under pressure
- The ability to be a team player
