The Opportunity
Here’s an opportunity to join a well-established medical practice in a town in South Otago region as a General Practitioner. This is a permanent Part-time general practitioner position where you are required to provide your service on a locum basis and complete 6 – 8 sessions per week. You will be supported by a medical team consisting of 5 GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, GPEP Registrars, and a large Nursing and Administration support team. You are required to consult 4 patients per hour.
The Medical Practice
Full-time nursing support and allied health support are available at this community-owned medical center. And, The medical center is a Cornerstone accredited teaching medical practice in the South Otago region. There are 8 consultation rooms and 4 treatment rooms, Primary Maternity Birthing Unit, onsite radiology, and pathology services available at the medical center.
Qualifications & Experience
- To apply for this role, you must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be a fellow of FRNZCGP
- Proficient with common general practice conditions
- Hold a General or Vocational Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- GPs from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, England, and all of Europe are welcome to apply
