Location: Wellington Regional Hospital

Service: Ambulatory Paediatrics

Contract: Permanent Part time – Mon-Thurs 32 hrs per week

Salary: $46,182- $53,803

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team

This role is based in Wellington Children-s Clinic and is responsible for the support work to deliver outpatient clinics and procedures provided by the inter disciplinary team to children and their whanau.

Clinics are delivered by Paediatricians, Surgeons, Junior medical and allied health staff. This role supports Nurses doing procedures, completing pre clinic measurements for all patients and some non nursing tasks such as pre clinic measuring of Blood pressures and Diabetes blood sugar testing as well as general restocking and supply orders ,preparation of clinic notes and rooms each day alongside general clinic support .

Moū – About you

We are seeking someone who is able to multi task, can demonstrate motivation, use effective communication and has the ability to work with changing workloads. We are seeking someone who has appositive can do attitude. Ideally you have worked as a health Care assistant previously or worked in the Health Care setting. The successful applicant must have completed the Level 3 Health Certificate or be willing to undertake this mandatory qualification. You must enjoy children and young people.
