Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to join our busy and dedicated team at Wairarapa Hospital wanting to make a difference to our patients and their Whanau. If you are a caring and patient focused Healthcare Assistant interested in working across the Wairarapa Hospital as part of the Duty Nurse Team we want to hear from you.
We have permanent part or full time positions available working Monday to Sunday rostered and rotating shifts.
Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
We are a hard working team providing support across the different acute services within the Wairarapa Hospital. Working with the nursing team and assisting them with the needs of the patient under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse.
Moū – About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant is an advantage and we will support the successful applicant with training in the requirements of a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated skills and caring attitude towards people.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with other members of the health team.
- Proven communication skills for patient care and team work.
- Initiative, enthusiasm and a desire to learn and improve own practice.
