Kennedy Park Resort is a Qualmark 5-star Gold Holiday Park and Qualmark 4+ star Gold Motel.

Kennedy Park Resort creates fun, family holiday experiences, hosts family parties, provides the best choice for school group and sports teams accommodation and has a conference venue that lets you get down to business. We are open 365 days per year.

We are seeking experienced housekeepers, to join the busy, hardworking team at Kennedy Park. We have a number of roles available – permanent part time (30 hours per week), permanent part time (18 hours per week), and casual (as and when required). As we are a 7 day a week operation, all roles work to a roster (Monday to Sunday) and must have availability to work weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

As a housekeeper you will ensure that accommodation and communal facilities are always serviced and presented to a high standard. Your house keeping trolley will always be presentable and well-stocked with what you need to do a great job. You’ll be a star at helping out our guests with their questions. Health and safety will be important to you and you’ll follow appropriate procedures to ensure everyone is safe.

You’ll succeed in this role if you’ve worked in housekeeping or a similar role before. Your eye for detail, sharp time-management skills and ability to work under pressure will make you a vital member of the team. You will have a five-star approach to customer service and changing priorities won’t bother you.

Napier City Council is one of Napier’s biggest and most desirable employers – we value excellence, integrity, sustainability and outstanding customer and community service. We are an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status although applicants must have existing rights to work in New Zealand. Napier City Council is responsible for Civil Defence emergencies and as such, all staff may be called upon to support the response.

Our preferred candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment screening which will include drug testing and, for some roles, health screening.
