About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for an Innovation Cadet to join our Wellington team based in Seaview, Lower Hutt.
As an Innovation Cadet, you will be part of the Innovation team, working together to:
- Answer technical enquiries
- Add and maintain Intellectual Property (IP) registers
- Provide new and improved website content
- Development and testing of new products
- Development of new manufacturing technologies
Key responsibilities include:
- Timely responses to internal and external technical enquiries
- Accurate data and documentation management
- Test plans and installs
About You
The ideal candidate will be results oriented with a hands on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership. You will be a strong team player and excellent communicator both verbally, pictorially and written.
Key competencies which will enhance your ability to succeed in this role are:
- Degree qualified in a technical or design discipline
- Practically minded with a high level of attention to detail
- Clear and concise documentation skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent organisational ability and strong planning skills
- Great positive attitude and ambition to succeed
- Competent with MS 365 suite of programs
- Experience in CAD, preferably Solidworks or similar 3D modelling software
