Hours: Part-time, 19 hours/week

Job Description
Salem Public Schools is seeking to build its cadre of tutors to support students in developing competency in math so that they are able to meet the demands of grade level content and skills.
Instructional support will be delivered through individual and small group instruction. All materials, tools, and online platforms will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Teaching certification preferred
- Proficiency in a teaching/tutoring capacity as acquired through prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or other education-related experiences

Responsibilities:
- Provides individual and small group instruction and practice
- Plans tutoring sessions based on recent data, classroom observations, and teacher consultation
- Provides progress-monitoring for students receiving additional supports
- Maintains a weekly schedule; collaborates with others
