Haukai Bistro & Bar is located at Novotel New Plymouth Taranaki and we are looking for an enthusiastic kitchenhand to assist in our busy kitchen.
This is a part-time role, 15 minimum guaranteed hours. This position is a great introduction into a kitchen for those who may want to become a chef in the future, and/or a great part-time position for job seekers.
We are looking for someone with reliable transport, who has the flexibility to work on a 7-day roster (weekends and evenings are essential), and who has the ability to work unsupervised.
The job role includes mainly dishwashing and keeping the kitchen clean, it may also include basic food preparation, food storage, and dessert plating.
We are able to offer an immediate start to a successful candidate.
