With the possibility of Temp to permanent work based in Hamilton this is a great role offering ongoing and flexible work in a health and safety conscious team environment.
What your day would look like:
• Assist in sorting linen and clothes for washing, folding and ironing.
• Feed and catch linen in the flat-work ironer.
• Collect and sort dirty linen from the shoot and transfer to laundry for washing.
• Help in timely loading and unloading of machines and assisting in transferring linen and clothes between machines.
• Ensure timely addition of chemicals in proper quantity and maintains proper temperature, pressure and water level.
About You:
• The ability to work on a rostered basis Mon-Sun
• Great communication skills
• Highly organised
• Previous experience in cleaning/laundry would be an advantage
• It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet for most of your shift, so fitness is important
• Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 25 kilograms and or pushing/pulling heavy objects
• Able to work alone as well as being a team member
• Must be double vaccinated
