Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you’ll be doing

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) libraries work together to develop a comprehensive and current network of information that is readily available to health professionals across the district and to assist them in the provision of quality patient care, teaching and research.

The position is responsible for the provision of a high-quality information service. This includes undertaking literature search consultations and other user education for staff and students, participating in promotion, facilitating information access, research support and other information skills training. This role will also include supervision of Circulation and reference desk duties and coordinating some areas of technical services.

This position aims to ensure library services meet the needs of its customers. In this newly improved library environment, this will include virtual visitors, LHD staff and clinicians, students based at Westmead, researchers, educators, patients and carers.
