We are looking for several Machine Operators to join our Palmerston North Production team working on a 4 x 4 roster. This comprises 2 x day shifts (8.00am – 8.00pm), followed by 2 x night shifts (8.00pm – 8.00am), with four days off in between each rotation.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for safely producing quality pipes to meet our production schedule. You’ll be passionate about safety, quality, being a team player, and enjoy being in a hands-on role in a busy production environment. We will provide on the job training.
About you
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ experience:
- Experience working in manufacturing, farming, automotive or heavy industry and / or experience working shifts
- Mechanically minded – ideally with experience with machinery, using hand-tools etc.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
