The Role
We are seeking a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a part time weekend cover role that will suit a talented multi skilled handy person who is not afraid utilise their skills and turn their hand to almost anything!
About You | Ko Koe Tēnei
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a similar role would be ideal
- Relevant trade experience is beneficial
- Able to follow a preventative maintenance schedule
- Can repair or resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Identify any problems that could escalate to become larger issues and notify the Duty Manager and Maintenance Specialist
- Carry out Maintenance repairs which could range from painting, general fixings, minor repairs – no two days are ever the same!
- Oversee all system, workshop and machinery while on shift and ensure they are maintained in a clean and safe condition
- To ensure the hotel van is well maintained and clean
- Ability to manage contractors on site including induction
- Excellent communication skills with all team members, contractors, guests and visitors
