Blackstone Academy is a public charter high school serving 350 students who live in Central Falls, Pawtucket, and Providence. We are looking to hire 2 part-time Math Tutors who can assist our Math Teachers in the classroom, especially as we work to strengthen student skills that were impacted by the COVID pandemic. Tutors will work 2-3 days per week and will primarily work in 9th and 10th grade Geometry/Stats and Algebra 1 classes. Additional tutoring time would be available in our after school program.
Applicants could be current college students, college graduates, or retired STEM teachers/tutors.
Ideally, applicants have some experience working with high school students. Applicants must be prepared to work in a diverse environment and enthusiastic about helping our students reach their potential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
