Our independent ‘merchandisers’ deliver our clients products from the stockroom to display in just about every Grocery Retailer in NZ, DIY stores and Petrol Stations all over NZ.
We have quite a few Students who see this work as getting fit AND getting paid. Most of our work is evenings (Sunday’s especially) or early mornings and so can be worked around studies.
This role is working as a Merchandiser at Countdown Karori and Countdown Crofton Downs. We have availability for Countdown Newtown and Countdown Kilbirnie if those stores suit you better – check out our other job ads
Details:
Builds must be completed after 8.00pm Sunday, and before 8.00am Monday
- Countdown Karori
- Countdown Crofton Downs
- Work Offered: 60mins per store (up to 2hrs total)
Tasks involve:
- Building a display
- Building a strong relationship in the store
- Stacking grocery products on shelves
To be successful in this role you must:
- Have reasonable English skills
- Be computer literate
- Have a decent smartphone with a data plan
- Possess a high level of self-motivation
- Have initiative and a passion for retail
Applicants must also have a current driver’s license, access to a car (other than in major town centres), and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. If you have some experience in a supermarket or retail environment that would be great, but don’t worry if not because we’ll put you through a short detailed training program. This role involves physical activity, including some medium lifting and stacking products. As part of the recruitment process, we will assess your ability to perform these tasks and train you to be safe.
