We are an easy going but busy family with active kids, and only 1km north of campus. We are looking for a nanny to take care of the children after school for 3 days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu). We can offer some flexibility with the days, and would consider applicants who can cover only two of these days, or who might have other commitments occasionally.
You will be looking after three children age ranging from 11 to 7 years old. The kids afterschool interests include tennis, squash, arts, music and ballet.
Duties include:
- Daily working hours 3-6pm
- Receiving kids when they arrive home from school at 3:00-3:15pm
- Making afternoon tea
- Taking them to activities
- Helping them with homework
- Perhaps baking cookies or other household assistance on a quiet day
- Coordination and communication with parents
Who we are looking for
- Previous nanny or childcare experience is preferred but not required (payrate will depend on experience and tenure)
- Outgoing, proactive, fun and energetic
- Know how to set consistent but reasonable limits with expectations on child behaviour
- Must have a full drivers license
Benefits
- Expected payrate of $22-25 depending on experience
- Flexibility – we can cover the odd day off if you have an exam or other occasional need for absence
