Essential Duties and Responsibilities for RN Supervisor:
- Assesses patients by physical examination including diagnostic testing to determine health status.
- Administer medication and treatments
- Participates in care planning and oversees the implementation of the plan
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in condition
- Documents assessments and care
- Educates patients and families
- Supervises the nursing department
Requirements of a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
