The Ōtātara Children’s Centre aims to work in partnership with whānau and community to provide outstanding education and care to the children of the Hawke’s Bay community, students and staff of EIT.
We have available a permanent part-time position at 25 hours per week, 9am to 2.30pm daily, for you to provide administrative and financial services to the Children’s Centre and to assist in implementing procedures that ensure all statutory requirements are met.
If you are proficient in the use of information and communication technologies, including databases, spread-sheets, word-processing, internet and email and enjoy working in a busy environment this may be the role for you.
You will need to have accurate and effective computer keyboard skills, strong organisational ability and highly developed and effective verbal and written communication skills.
A current First Aid certificate an advantage but First Aid courses are run at EIT and staff can participate free of charge. Terms and conditions of employment are the same as for other non teaching staff at EIT i.e professional development leave, long service leave, extra paid leave days etc.
