We are Karori’s neighbourhood pub, established for almost ten years and famous for our metre pizzas and the best burgers in town. We have strong ties with our local community and are focused on providing our clientele with casual service with great personality.
We are an established FOH team made up mostly of students, and we’re looking for people with FOH experience to join us on a part-time basis. The job offers a mixture of awesome people and a great work environment. If you love hospitality work and are looking for something to help with expenses during your studies this is the job for you.
The job will include:
- Waiting & clearing tables
- Communicating in a small team to keep things running smoothly
- Working with a regular clientele
- Restocking & recording low stock
- Dealing with complaints
A successful applicant will:
- Love food and people
- Pride themselves on being punctual and reliable
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be productive and fast paced while maintaining a high standard
- Be calm in high-pressure scenarios and be exceptional problem solvers
- Live in the Karori/Kelburn area and/or have reliable transport
Exact hours negotiable, with plenty available over the summer before the semester starts.
