This is a permanent part time position
About the role:
- Provide clinical care for residents requiring care based on their needs and care plan
- Establish effective working relationships by ensuring communication and liaison with all members of the healthcare team
- Regularly monitor and evaluate responses to planned care
- Communicate with residents and their families
- Ensure care is delivered in a safe and professional manner and in line with current best practice
- Demonstrate effective leadership of caregivers
About you:
- Have previous aged care nursing experience and hold a current APC with no conditions
- Maintain your own professional development
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work in a team and autonomously
- Be computer literate including intermediate level of knowledge in MS Office
- Show a caring and considerable attitude to residents, visitors and your team members
- Ability to adapt to change and work efficiently under pressure

The NZ Government COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 (Vaccinations Order), has mandated that workers in the health and disability sector must be double vaccinated, including booster vaccinations which came into effect on 23 January 2022. Due to this mandate, we will need evidence of your two vaccinations and your booster.If you received your second dose on or before 16 August 2021, then you must get the vaccine booster by 15 February 2022.
If you received your second dose after 16 August 2021, then you must get the vaccine booster within 183 days (6 months) of your second dose. You will be asked to provide evidence of your vaccination status during our recruitment process.
