About the role
We are currently looking for a Permanent – part time P&C Business Partner to join our team in New Plymouth working 3 – 4 days per week. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will provide strategic support with the development and implementation and ongoing management of P&C initiatives for our Business Units in Perth and Adelaide. You will also manage the day-to-day coordination of ER/IR activities for these Business Units. Other key Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the business unit GM’s and their leadership teams to deliver key business and P&C initiatives
- Fulfil the role of WorkDay HCM SME to provide functional support
- Educate stakeholders across the business on best practice people management working with them to implement.
- Providing advice and active involvement in employee and industrial matters, and general P&C policy and process interpretation.
- Enterprise Agreement and Award interpretation.
- Assist the P&C Recruitment Advisor during the recruitment process
- Active involvement working as part of the P&C team on key project initiatives to support business growth and improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a driven, energetic professional who thrives in delivering innovative P&C solutions that enables business leaders build a high performing culture and attract and retain their people. As such you will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Previous Business Partner experience in providing People & Culture support ideally in a professional service environment, to senior managers and leadership teams.
- Highly developed communication, customer service, team and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Qualifications in Human Resources.
- HRIS systems experience essential (Workday experience highly desirable)
