Chevalier Wholesale Produce has been in the business for 50 years. We service to hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes throughout Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Tauranga and Taupo.
We are currently on the lookout for someone to join our pick packing team. This role would require you to work in a chilled environment picking produce orders for over 500 customers.
The shifts for this role will be for our afternoon shifts, meaning work would usually begin around 1pm and finish around 9-10pm depending on how much work there is.
This position will start as a CASUAL position. However, if you prove yourself to be a great asset to the business who has the tenacity to help make the company better then a permanent position may be offered.
To be successful in the role you would need to:
- work in a chilled environment
- be physically fit to be able to lift 20kg or more of products
- have your own transport to get to and from work
- be punctual and consistent with attendance to work
- be able to work up to six days a week if required
- ideally have knowledge of produce products, but not essential
Applicants must be in NZ and be able to start as soon as possible. This position requires an urgent fill so applicants will be interviewed and the position will be offered as suitable applicants are met.
