Postion Description:
Looking for a part-time Pre-Kindergarten teacher for our year-round program. Our school is a professional and friendly organization that employs a holistic, team teaching approach. We also have a family-oriented atmosphere. If you love teaching young children and are interested in being part of our small, engaged team, we’d like to meet you.
Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- Hours are 8:30am – 2:30pm (with flexibility to help cover the 7:15am – 3:15pm or 9:45am – 5:45pm shift if a team member is out or on vacation)
Qualifications:
- Experience working with preschool/prek aged children
- Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher Certified
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree, or working towards degree (preferably in Early Childhood Education or related field)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults
- Ability to plan engaging curriculum and work as part of a team
- Experience with NAEYC Accreditation process
- Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
