Ideally for this role you will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with key stakeholders on purchasing activity, change issues and sourcing strategies. You will be proactive in your approach to identifying and implementing improvements to procurement, as well work with suppliers to understand their needs, products and services. A key part of this role will be ensuring you are processing and releasing purchase orders in accordance with the client’s procedures and policies.
Your skills and experience must include:
– Previous Procurement or Purchasing experience
– Outstanding communication skills
– Ability to negotiate in a clear and concise manner
– High attention to detail
– Analytically minded with good financial literacy
– Experience using ERP
– Advanced technical skills in Excel and MS Office tools
