We are looking for Quarry Operators to drive loaders and / or bin trucks. Ideally you will have a Class 2 licence and the WTR endorsement. Experience operating in a quarry would be preferred but this is not essential.
You will be working at one of our quarries and routine tasks will include:
• Loading trucks and / or plant
• Stockpiling
• Feeding an aggregate plant
• Transporting material using a bin truck to the plant for processing
CRMC Aggregates is a key provider of sand and aggregate products in the Canterbury region and a part of Christchurch Ready Mix Concrete, which is a locally owned family business, operating in Canterbury for over 50 years. The company is made up of four divisions, concrete, aggregates, civil contracting and a workshop delivering mechanical and engineering services.
Key responsibilities for this position will be:
• Loader operation
• Driving a bin truck
• Undertake and record daily plant prestart checks
• Ensure products meet specifications
• Assist with day to day maintenance
Ideally you will:
• Have a Class 2 licence and WTR endorsement
• Be keen to learn all aspects of quarrying
• Be keen to work as part of a team and have a willing attitude to work where required to get the job done.
