Victoria Ave Medical Centre is a well-established, busy General Practice. They have a great team of positive and friendly professionals, focused on providing excellent primary care in a collaborative environment.

The practice is looking for a Receptionist / Administrator to join the team working Monday to Friday, 20 – 25 hours a week, either from 8.30am – 1.00pm or 12.30 – 5.30pm. Some flexibility to work additional hours to provide cover for leave from time to time would also be required.

Reporting to the Practice Manager the main activities of the role will be greeting and engaging positively with patients at reception, booking appointments, answering the phone and ensuring a high level of customer service is provided. Additionally, some general administration duties would be involved such as scanning documents, word processing and sending off prescriptions.

With excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, natural empathy and patience, you will relate well to others. You will be a competent user of IT and will preferably have some familiarity using Apple Mac.
