Taitara Mahi – Records Assistant
We are looking for two Records Assistants to support the Archivist in relocating Council’s hardcopy records. This is a fixed term part-time position, at 30 hours per week, for a period of 12 weeks.
Known for your flexibility and ability to deliver, you will be an integral part of our Records team.
You will be involved in moving hardcopy documents from the Council main administration centre.
The successful candidate will be:
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks (lifting and moving boxes of files)
- Able to record file details on an electronic register.
- Flexible “can- do” attitude, prepared to pitch in to get things done.
Situated in the heart of Ngati Kahungunu, the Hastings district and Hawke’s Bay offer an enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play.
