Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
As a Registered Nurse, we offer you the opportunity to join our highly motivated and professional team at Capital and Coast District Health Board (CCDHB).
We are currently looking for a part time Registered Nurse to work 0.6- 0.8fte (24-32 hours per week). Our shifts are rostered and rotating including weekends and nights which could include a combination of 5hour & 8 hour shifts within the roster. If you enjoy working night shifts we would also love to hear from you to.

The Accident and Medical Clinic is a busy 24 hour Urgent Care Clinic situated at Kenepuru Hospital. We provide GP level care for those who require urgent medical treatment and are unable to see their own GP. If you like variety in your day and would enjoy working with an awesome team we are keen to hear from you
Moū – About you
The ideal applicant would be:
- Enthusiastic dynamic and forward thinking.
- Team player and have the ability to work independently
- Have previous experience in : Urgent Care, Practice Nursing, Paediatrics or Acute care settings.
- Have practical skills and knowledge in areas such as triage, wound care, plastering cannulation and phlebotomy.
- Experience working on Medtech would be an advantage
We are keen to hear from nurses who are interested in completing post graduate study and advancing in clinical practice and have the potential of working as an independent health professional within the team. A nurse with a Professional Development portfolio at proficient or above would be desirable.
