We are a combined ICU / HDU where patients will be able to transition between levels of care without leaving the unit. We are an up-to-date as medical facilities get, with brand-new equipment, and with the patient-focussed design you-ll be thrilled at the quality of care you can provide.
Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
Our team delivers acute life support to critically ill patients and as a Regional Burns and plastics centre, we support post-operative major reconstructive surgery. Alongside support of high acuity patients of all ages.
In each shift you-ll be responsible for the assessment, care and treatment of one or two patients, with autonomy in your scope of practice. You-ll work with patients of all ages – from young children to geriatric – and their whanau, too.
