Applications are invited from Registered Nurses to fill positions in our busy orthopaedic and gynaecology (along with surgical specialties) ward. We care for patients from the age of 15 with both acute and planned admissions so there is always something to learn!

These positions are rostered and rotating shift patterns and staff will be required to work 8 hour shifts at the following times:

0645 – 1515

1445 – 2315

2245 – 0715

1030 – 1900

Ideally candidates will have:

  • Recent nursing experience in a NZ DHB
  • Suitable for recent NETP nurses
  • Orthopaedic / Gynaecology / Surgical nursing experience
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Motivation and self direction
  • Be committed to self directed learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Be motivated and willing to learn
  • The desire to work as part of a team
