Millennium have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Retail Security Guards at a local retail shopping centre in Christchurch.
We are looking for an experienced and capable security guard to join the Millennium team to ensure we continue to provide a top-class service.
Shift Details
Monday – 10:15am – 4:15pm
Tuesday – 2:15pm – 6:15pm
Wednesday – 2:15pm – 6:15pm
Thursday – 2:15pm – 6:15pm
Friday – 2:15pm – 6:15pm
Total of 22 hours per week.

You must have:
– A current Certificate of Approval
– First Aid Certificate is preferred (completion could be arranged by Management)

– Approachable and presentable appearance and nature
– Pass a criminal background check
– Have reliable transport
Security experience is required for this role. A mature outlook is required as you are providing a professional security presence and will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers and employees, as well as supporting the Centre Management team in all areas of risk.
Primary duties and responsibilities include patrolling and monitoring premises, providing a customer friendly and professional security presence, maintain vigilance, and acting in a swift and calm manner when required. You are required to have exception communication skills, both written and verbal as you will be required to use RT communication and produce written reports. You must always maintain the highest integrity and honesty and be able to work as part of a team.
