About the Position
We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative candidate for a part time role working two days per week. Ideally you will be available Mondays and Tuesdays however we are open to negotiation for the right applicant. The successful candidate will be a dynamic educator who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church. As part of a cohesive team, you will be committed to articulate the vision for strengthening and building upon a strong foundation in line with the school’s learning framework.
With the ability to drive and facilitate a deep love of learning in students, your Christian faith will be evident in your ability to integrate an authentic Christian worldview into every learning experience. You will have a clear understanding of differentiated learning and assessment, catering for the individual needs of all students. As a Primary teacher at PCS you will have a passion for engaging students’ love of learning, inspiring and fostering their skills, creativity and enjoyment, whilst developing their skills in foundational Literacy and Numeracy areas. Along with NESA accreditation and a current Working with Children Check, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- recent experience and/or training with Years K-6
- evidence of success in a teaching role
- collaborative, innovative and effective practice
- highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents
- a demonstrated capacity to work and contribute as a member of a curriculum team
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment
- excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms.
