THE ROLE
Responsibilities
* Championing the day to day running of the store, including sales – both online and in-store, inventory movements and in-store visual merchandising
* Assist in changing displays and details like price and photos of shop stock
* Freight handling – Quote, Dispatch and Reconcile
* Assist with data handling for the website
* Assist in developing trade & wholesale for the business
* Assist overall business development to further develop the online presence of the business and transition a bricks and mortar store to a successful online store
* Building customer databases for marketing
* Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer enquiries
Requirements
* Experience within a retail sales or customer service environment preferred
* Excellent interpersonal skills with pleasant and outgoing personality
* Exceptional verbal communication skills
* Quick-learner with the motivation to develop new skills and help grow the business
* Experience using Shopify or other similar platforms
* Must be physically fit and be able to lift items upto 20 kgs
Note: Remuneration can be reviewed for successful candidates after 3 months
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
