Permanent Part Time | 25 hours per week.
You read that right. This role is from 9.00am to 2.30pm to enable you to accommodate your busy life with school aged children or maybe you just want to reduce your hours. What’s more, in the school holidays, we would also be flexible with a combination of office work and working from home being available. In return we would need an understanding that some flexibility would be required on occasions where work needed to be undertaken outside these hours.
The key skills and experiences we are looking for include:
You will bring more than 5 years’ experience as an HR practitioner and will have done all the usual HR activities such as recruitment and retention, policy development, professional development, reward and recognition. In addition, you will have an in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and its application, employment case law and how that might impact decisions we make. You will have taken a lead in employment and industrial relations matters including taking an active part in industrial negotiations and leading employment relations issues such as personal grievances right through to mediation.
Ideally you will also have exposure to organisational change management and will be able to assist us with our competency assessment and goal setting framework which we are about to roll out to the organisation.
This is a busy portfolio with a broad programme of work. Our small team operates on a basis of good communication, respect, and collaboration to prioritise and achieve our goals. You will need to be glass half full, ‘I’ve got this’ kind of person, with an excellent sense of humour.
