National Service Support Manager
The Company
Our client is a well-known European Automotive Brand and one of the world’s largest car manufacturers!
The Role
They have a huge passion for their business and their products are top of the line! They are looking for a National Service Support Manager who has a passion for excellent customer service.
Located out of their offices in central Auckland, but for much of the role you will be travelling around the nationwide dealership network. The role reports to the National Aftersales Manager.

The Detail
You will be enabling the network to deliver the best customer experience possible and at the same time ensuring the aftersales teams are effective and profitably run. You will be suggesting improvements and helping the dealerships implement them.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Ensure the network receives a world-class level of support
- Develop workable strategies to deliver, manage and improve Service Core Process to achieve increased customer satisfaction
- Strategic and operational input to the Dealers Service and Parts businesses
- Assessment of service training needs where required in conjunction with the Training Manager
- Mentor and train service advisors
- Customer support services and implement assistance programs by service providers
- Support customer correspondence and inquiries on technical aftersales matters
- Manage mystery shop program and develop improvement planning and training
- Responsibility of Dealer Assessment and Service Business development programs
- Conduct Dealer visits to ensure good relationships are developed and improvements are constantly leveraged
- Development and co-ordination of vehicle Service Plans and retention programs
- Identify training needs and requirements of the network
- Oversee the PDI process across the dealer network to meet NZTA compliance
- Collate Dealer Network workshop monthly results
- Participate in the preparation of business plans and budgets
- Provide comprehensive visit reports with qualitative and quantitative action plans
- Foster and develop a close working relationship with the manufacturer offices.
About You
- You will ideally have worked as a service advisor previously and must have a sound understanding of an automotive service environment
- Proven ability to execute exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Strong negotiation and reporting skills
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- Capacity to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Pragmatic and results-oriented
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility, adaptability and willingness to take on a wide range of tasks
