  • PERMANENT PART-TIME – CITY LIBRARY

We are looking for someone to work in our busy City Library to help shelve returned Library items in the weekends. Your responsibilities will include shelving books and other materials in correct Dewey and/or alphabetical order, managing the newspapers, collecting holds, identifying materials which need repair and discharging returned items.

Ideally you will have NCEA Level 2 and some shelving experience although applicants with related skills will be considered for on-the-job training. You must possess good literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and be reliable, methodical and accurate. Good communication skills, a friendly personality, and the ability to work unsupervised are essential.


10 Hour of work per week, to be worked as follows:

  • Saturday and Sunday – 10.30 – 4.00pm
