Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry. We represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners throughout NZ. You will be employed directly by one of our Members who will provide you with an Employment Agreement, uniform, and any required PPE.
We have a great role with a member who offers full professional clean and facilities management services throughout New Zealand. With over 4000 staff working with them across New Zealand, they can offer a range of opportunities for people with the right drive, experience and ambition.
About the role
As a Specialist Cleaner you will be providing specialised cleaning services to clients onsite. These could range from carpet cleaning, window cleaning, covid cleaning, trauma cleaning to name a few. Dependent on what service is required you could be working with a work collegue on that job and other times you will be working on your own.
Hours of work – Guaranteed 40 hours across 6 days.
Responsibilities may include
- Carpet Cleaning,
- Height works,
- Strip & Seal,
- Water blasting,
- Handyman Services,
- Installations,
- Roof Cleaning,
- Building Cleaning External,
- Window Cleaning
- and the list goes on ….
What do you need
- Full drivers’ licence and own transport
- Willingness to be trained in and understand cleaning processes in carpet Shampooing, Strip and Seals, Water Blasting etc.
- Flexible with hours, some days, nights and weekends task dependent
- Reliability and motivation to want to do a great job every time
- You must have an eye for detail.
- Be fit and healthy
- Moderate lifting is involved in this role.
- No convictions
- Good command of english both written and oral
- TO be fully vaccinated against COVID 19
