Our Emergency Department is one of the busiest ED-s
in Australasia. Based in the new Waipapa building we are located in a new
purpose-built ED, New Zealand’s newest Emergency Department!
We are a 58 bed department, geographically divided
into functional areas, and see an average of 110,000 presentations per year.
We are now looking for a Specialty Clinical Nurse
to join our larger nursing team, which includes Registered Nurses, Clinical
Nurse Specialists and Nurse Practitioners.
Ko wai koe | About You
As a Specialty Clinical Nurse you will provide support and coaching to
nursing staff of all levels, from the novice to the expert in the assessment,
planning and implementation of nursing care.
Through an interactive and collaborative approach you will engage one on
one with the ED nurses, assisting them in the attainment of new knowledge and
skills, and providing leadership and consultancy for nursing practice.

minimum of 4 years clinical expertise in Emergency Nursing is essential * Experience
in clinical teaching and or coaching/mentoring is essential along with a post graduate
