SPARK business academy teaches financial literacy and business topics to students in Kindergarten through 9th grade.
We are looking for a Camp Counselor to supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun. We provide teaching guides, training, and class materials for each weekly camp.
A SPARK Camp Counselor will use our easy to follow financial literacy and business related teaching guides in a fun in jovial manner. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a SPARK Camp Counselor.
This summer we are offering full-day week long camps in the 03909 zip code in-person. The camp week will last Monday to Friday from 9-3:00pm (7/11-7/15)
The ideal candidate will be a current teacher or has at least two years of experience as a camp counselor. If you’re patient, energetic but strict when needed, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Lead business and financial literacy classes
- Escort and oversee children from grades K-9
- Educate campers through games and explorations
- Set up and maintain the classroom
- Make sure all safety rules are followed and provides excellent classroom management skills
- Perform first aid or take care of injuries as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a school teacher, camp counselor, or similar role working with children
- Patient and reliable
- Organizational and communication skills
- A love for children
- Energetic and positive personality
- High school diploma
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $900.00 per week
