We are looking for Support Workers for our Community and Rehabilitation Services in the New Plymouth Area. Earn between $21.84 – $27.43 per hour.
We have available hours on offer, Week 1 Monday 7AM – 6PM Tuesday 12PM – 9PM Thursday 7AM – 5PM Friday 1PM – 5PM Week 2 Monday 7AM – 5PM Tuesday 12PM – 9PM Wednesday 7AM – 2PM Friday 2PM – 11PM Friday 11PM – Saturday 7AM(Sleepover). High needs client. Fixed termed for 6 months covering Maternity Leave. Possibility of more work after.
What does a Support Worker do?
As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Giving medication
- Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
- Home management
