I am therefore seeking a new female employee to support me 6 hours per week, and 9 hours once every 3 weeks.
This is shift work. This role is easily worked around university schedules, however the successful applicant must be able to work weekends (1 weekend every 3 weeks).
The general periods of work are mornings (6:30-8:00am), and evenings (6-7:30pm OR 5pm-8.30pm). Shifts are between 1.5-3.5 hrs.
In this role you will support me with general physical tasks. This will include support with eating, dressing, light cleaning, and general chores. However, the role will extend to support in the community; such as going to the gym and/or the grocery store. Though a drivers license and car is not required, it is desirable, as shifts often centre around going to and from activities.
You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for this role.
In this role I am looking for someone with the following traits;
- Self-motivated: many of the tasks that need to be done are ones that you are required to figure out how to best fit them into the time you have available. I need someone that is able to efficiently manage their time and get all necessary tasks done in a diligent and expedient manner.
- Flexible: the nature of the position is that often my own schedule can change. Though I aim to stick to the fortnightly schedule; there are sometimes changes to start/end times. I require individuals that are open to these kinds of infrequent, though entirely possible, changes.
- Professional: This is a working relationship, and though it is quite different from a job in a more formal setting, I expect my support team to approach the position with professionalism.
- Follows instructions: though it is inevitable that every position requires a bit of time to get used to the swing of things, I need an individual that is really willing to engage and listen to my instructions. I do have a particular way that I like things done and I require an individual who understands and is committed to that.
