32 hours per fortnight (0.4 FTE)

  • Do you have experience in working with Māori, understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and health equity?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled person to join our team. The System Lead for Medicines role is responsible for providing professional leadership for pharmacy services and safe, effective and equitable use of medicines across out Hawkes Bay system. The role is a key advisor that requires clinical engagement and partnership across the health sector. This role is a senior clinician role and has the ability to act. You will provide advice directly to the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer and Health Services Group Leadership Teams. The role is responsible for strong medicines governance and activities to ensure appropriate pharmacy workforce planning occurs. As System Lead for Medicines you will have a strong relationship with the Executive Clinical Leads to ensure a team approach.

To be considered for this role you will need to have a high level of understanding of the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi, an understanding of HBDHB Vision and Values, be results driven with strong relationship management skills. You will have a broad understanding of our health system, strong credentials in leadership, and a passion for innovation. You must be a registered Pharmacist with a current New Zealand Practicing Certificate and have a post-graduate qualification relevant to the role of System Lead for Medicines.
