Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry – we represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners and the associated support staff throughout NZ.
You will be employed directly by one of our Members who will provide you with an Employment Agreement, tools of trade and the training required to fulfil this role.
We are seeking a flexible and driven individual for a Supervisor role in a facilities management/ cleaning company. Experience in the Commercial cleaning, a drive to succeed and a can-do attitude is essential.
About the role
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of cleaning services to clients within Tauranga, ensuring an exceptional service is delivered consistently. This is a hands-on role and some cleaning duties will be required. This role will be spilt with 15 hours administration/ supervising and 15 hours of cleaning per week. Start and finish times may vary depending on business demand.
Responsibilities include
- Managing the client and site outcomes
- Recruiting, training and staff inductions
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to always
- Managing staff and rosters
- Preparing payroll timesheets
- Covering shifts when required
- QA checks with clients
- Liaising with Management
- Overseeing the ordering of consumable items
- Ensuring client satisfaction in delivering a first-class service.
- Strong operational support
- Managing fleet vehicles, and equipment
- General cleaning
- Controlling costs
You will ideally have
- Experience in the Commercial cleaning industry is preferred
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop your team
- The focus on providing outstanding levels of customer service
- A can-do attitude.
- A full clean driver’s licence
- No criminal convictions
- Fully vaccinated against COVID 19
