My clients are looking for a temporary full-time Medical Secretary to help out as they are very busy and need more hands on deck!. You will be an integral person in a practice environment, as the first point of contact with patients and visitors, and also PA for some of the best clinicians in the industry. The team currently working for this clinic are pretty amazing at what they do, they love what they do and they enjoy coming in to work each day. This full-time role will see you working Monday to Friday, normal office hours in Epsom. You will need to have experience as a Medical PA or Secretary to be successful in this role.
This role will be for 4-6 weeks long and potentially extended depending on how busy they are.
Duties include:
- Provision of a warm, friendly, comfortable, informative and safe environment for patients as they arrive and while waiting to be seen by clinicians.
- Management of BCG Nurse and Dietician clinics, bookings and processing (shared between two receptionists).
- Accurate and timely processing of patients in the patient management system
- Phone calls and messages are managed in an accurate and timely way
- Understand and assist Secretary’s with workload fluctuations, registering new patients, organising triage where appropriate, loading referrals, letters, results and other patient health documents into patients notes, booking appointments, assisting with phone calls
- Assist with cover of Medical Secretary’s leave
To be considered you will ideally have:
- 2 + years in a similar role
- Intermediate to advance MS Office Suite
- Great time management skills
- Excellent communication
- Flexible for a variety of tasks
- A fast typing speed with high accuracy
- Previous exposure to the health industry would be advantageous
