Fixed Term, Part-time opportunity

You will ideally have teaching experience and be able to share Knowledge and experience of Te Ao Māori and/or Pacific worldview will be an advantage.
The MIT trades academy is the result of some clever thinking by MIT, local employers and government agencies. A place at the trades academy allows to study at MIT and school, getting the benefits of both worlds and easing the transition between secondary and tertiary study.
The successful applicant will need to have enthusiasm for teaching support work workforce and be able to connect with years 11, 12 and 13 students from southern Auckland secondary schools. The ability to lead and work as part of a team is essential as are excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. Patience, flexibility and the ability to enjoy working with people from diverse cultures and background in both the classroom and practice setting are required. The position will be based at the Manukau Campus.
