About The Role
The Nurse Maude Board is seeking to appoint a new Trustee to complement and augment the existing team and work strategically and collaboratively with the Board and Chief Executive to achieve Nurse Maude’s mission.
Skills & Experience
We seek interest in this rewarding position from individuals who have:
- Well-developed level of business/commercial acumen
- A specialist background/skillset in finance/accounting
- Ideally, previous knowledge and experience of working at a governance level, with experience in governance audit and risk an advantage
- Passion for improving lives
- An empathy for the services that Nurse Maude provides.

Nurse Maude provides services to more than 400,000 people each year, delivering over a million hours of district and specialist nursing, home support services, hospice and community palliative care and allied support. Commitment required
Board meetings are held monthly with meetings usually lasting 2-4 hours. There are 11 meetings per year. The appointee will also sit on the Finance and Audit subcommittee, and the Nurse Maude Foundation, which has combined meetings quarterly.
