Rainforest Retreat is a tourism business located in Franz Josef on the West Coast of the South Island. We have a large backpackers, Motels, Luxury lodges a holiday park and our very popular Monsoon Bar & Restaurant.
You will be required to have the following:
Excellent customer service skills.
Be a great team player and most importantly having a positive “lets get the job done” attitude.
We have a wide and diverse range of clients and expect our staff to offer the highest work standards in every department. Time management skills, social management skills and excellent customer service skills are important in our team. We all work hard together to achieve a great environment for guests and staff to enjoy and relax in. With the large development of this business there is lots of room for staff input into different areas of the business.
JOB ROLES:
Bar/Restaurant Duty Managers: we are looking for experienced bar/restaurant staff who have a current DM’s license.
Bartenders: Experience preferred but not necessary, training for the right person – Can potentially help you obtain DM license
Kitchen Staff: Someone hardworking who can help support our awesome kitchen team
Wait Staff: we are looking for someone who is both hardworking and has excellent customer service.
Housekeeping: we are looking for someone who has a great attention for detail, who is efficient, and works well within a team environment.
You must be willing to work weekends and public holidays. You will work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Franz Josef is situated 2-hour drive from Hokitika and is a little town with small town facilities. We can help with finding accommodation.
