Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

The role of 150th Anniversary Manager will be the principal strategist responsible for lead the planning and development of the University’s 150th celebrations. You will provide comprehensive advice and services to the AVC Engagement and leadership team, developing and implementing integrated fundraising and alumni relations programme and manage all bond and bond holder related activities. You will focus on delivering successful celebrations of the University’s history, our past achievements and future goals with a focus of developing and supporting industry engagement in order to support and maximise events surrounding the 150th Celebrations.

As the ideal candidate, you will have extensive fundraising experience, developing and implementing fundraising strategies and plans, and have:

  • experience working in a senior engagement role, preferably in higher education
  • persuasive and influencing skills to maintain high connectivity at all times with internal and external stakeholders
  • a successful record in implementing high-profile projects/events
  • a collaborative and cohesive working approach
  • excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
  • experience working within a competitive sector
  • proven experience and commitment to enhancing cultural awareness and competence
