The Company
Work for a family-owned business in Hamilton with 30 years plus experience in the industry. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanic who is very reliable, has a great work ethic, happy to help the team whenever needed.
The Role
The successful applicant would be responsible for servicing and helping the Mechanics in the yard, doing welding, using machinery, dealing with clients on-site is an essential part of the role so first impressions and a professional approach is important.
This position is full time, with normal hours of operation being Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 5 pm (Be able to do extra hours during busy periods)
Salary would depend upon your experience and knowledge.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a mechanic + welder
- Trade qualifications are not essential but would be an advantage!
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills – can deal with clients!
- A good level of physical fitness as the role requires a mixture of lifting, standing etc.
- Current full driver’s license.
- Be able to pass a drug test
