Our ideal candidate will need all or most of the following skills:
- You might need to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug and Alcohol Test. – in today’s world, that is a skill
- An Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry qualification would be to your advantage
- Be a good and friendly communicator
- Be able to follow instructions and processes
- Have good general construction-, maintenance and installation knowledge, a real ‘Jack (or Jill) of all Trades’ type of person
- Be willing and able to do painting, gardening, decking, general carpentry, cleaning gutters, digging
- holes, planting posts, fencing, fixing shelves, renovating bathrooms, fixing floors and much more…
- Be able to safely work most hand tools (manual, battery or electrically powered)
- Full NZ drivers license
- You will need to be able to work under pressure and unsupervised.
